Prospective teachers should possess a strong academic background, good character, a passion for learning, and a desire to educate the next generation of citizens. Idaho law enables charter schools to certify their own teachers, so teacher certification is not required for initial hire.

North Idaho Classical Academy (NICA) is a tuition-free, public charter school located approximately five miles outside of Bonners Ferry, Idaho opening August 2026.
